And the angel of the Lord said to her, Behold, thou art with child, and shalt bear a son, and shalt call his name Ismael, for the Lord hath hearkened to thy humiliation.
The angel of the LORD proceeded: “Behold, you have conceived and will bear a son. And you shall name him Ishmael (note: Ishmael means God hears.), for the LORD has heard your cry of affliction.
