Then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain (note: Heb. plains) of Mamre, which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.
So Abram moved his tent and went to live near the Oaks (note: Or Terebinths or Great Trees) of Mamre at Hebron, where he built an altar to the LORD.
