Apparuit autem Dominus Abram, et dixit ei : Semini tuo dabo terram hanc. Qui ædificavit ibi altare Domino, qui apparuerat ei.
Then the LORD appeared to Abram and said, “I will give this land to your offspring (note: Cited in Galatians 3:16).” So Abram built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.
