Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Γενηθήτω στερέωμα ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ ὕδατος, καὶ ἔστω διαχωρίζον ἀνὰ μέσον ὕδατος καὶ ὕδατος· καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως.
And God said, “Let there be an expanse (note: Or a canopy or a firmament or a vault; also in verses 7, 8, 14, 15, 17, and 20) between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.”
