καὶ ἔδωκαν τὸ νόμισμα τοῦ βασιλέως τοῖς διοικηταῖς τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ἐπάρχοις πέραν τοῦ ποταμοῦ· καὶ ἐδόξασαν τὸν λαὸν καὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ θεοῦ.
They also delivered the king’s edicts to the royal satraps (note: A satrap was a Persian official.) and governors of the region west of the Euphrates (note: Hebrew governors beyond the River), who proceeded to assist the people and the house of God.
