וַיָּ֜מָד אֶת־ אֻלָ֤ם הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ שְׁמֹנֶ֣ה אַמּ֔וֹת וְאֵילוֹ שְׁתַּ֣יִם אַמּ֑וֹת וְאֻלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֖עַר מֵהַבָּֽיִת׃
it was eight cubits deep, and its jambs were two cubits thick. And the portico of the gateway faced the temple.
