And a sword shall come upon the Egyptians, and there shall be tumult in Ethiopia, and in Egypt [men] shall fall down slain together, and her foundations shall fall.
A sword will come against Egypt, and there will be anguish in Cush (note: That is, the upper Nile region; also in verses 5 and 9) when the slain fall in Egypt, its wealth is taken away, and its foundations are torn down.
