ἧς οἱ ἀφηγούμενοι ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς ὡς λέοντες ὠρυόμενοι ἁρπάζοντες ἁρπάγματα, ψυχὰς κατεσθίοντες ἐν δυναστείᾳ καὶ τιμὰς λαμβάνοντες· καὶ αἱ χῆραί σου ἐπληθύνθησαν ἐν μέσῳ σου.
The conspiracy of the princes (note: LXX; Hebrew prophets) in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing its prey. They devour the people, seize the treasures and precious things, and multiply the widows within her.
