Quand je les eus fait entrer dans le pays que j'avais juré, la main levée, de leur donner, partout où ils ont vu une colline élevée et un arbre touffu, ils y ont offert leurs sacrifices et présenté leurs offrandes qui excitaient ma colère ; ils y ont apporté leurs parfums d'agréable odeur et y ont répandu leurs libations.
When I brought them into the land that I swore to give them and they saw any high hill or leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices, presented offerings that provoked Me, sent up their fragrant incense, and poured out their drink offerings.
