L’Éternel dit: Jette-la par terre. Il la jeta par terre, et elle devint un serpent. Moïse fuyait devant lui.
“Throw it on the ground,” said the LORD. So Moses threw it on the ground, and it became a snake (note: Hebrew nachash, in contrast to Aaron’s staff, which became a tannin in Exodus 7:10), and he ran from it.
