And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent (note: Heb. a man of words), neither heretofore, nor since thou hast (note: Heb. since yesterday nor since the third day) spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
“Please, Lord,” Moses replied, “I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to Your servant, for I am slow of speech and tongue.”
