Und der HErr sprach zu Mose: Sage zu den Kindern Israel: Ihr seid ein halsstarriges Volk. Wo ich nur einen Augenblick mit dir hinaufzöge, würde ich dich vertilgen. Und nun lege deinen Schmuck von dir, dass ich wisse, was ich dir tun soll.
For the LORD had said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people. If I should go with you for a single moment, I would destroy you. Now take off your jewelry, and I will decide what to do with you.’”
