And that son (note: Heb. he of his sons) that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days, when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.
The son who succeeds him as priest and enters the Tent of Meeting to minister in the Holy Place must wear them for seven days.
