ἐὰν δὲ ὁ κύριος ᾖ μετ’ αὐτοῦ, οὐκ ἀποτίσει· ἐὰν δὲ μισθωτὸς ᾖ, ἔσται αὐτῷ ἀντὶ τοῦ μισθοῦ αὐτοῦ.
If the owner was present, no restitution is required. If the animal was rented, the fee covers the loss.
