ὁ δὲ εἶπεν τίς σε κατέστησεν ἄρχοντα καὶ δικαστὴν ἐφ᾿ ἡμῶν μὴ ἀνελεῖν με σὺ θέλεις ὃν τρόπον ἀνεῖλες ἐχθὲς τὸν Αἰγύπτιον ἐφοβήθη δὲ Μωυσῆς καὶ εἶπεν εἰ οὕτως ἐμφανὲς γέγονεν τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο
But the man replied, “Who made you ruler and judge over us (note: Cited in Acts 7:27 and Acts 7:35)? Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian (note: LXX Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian yesterday? Cited in Acts 7:28)?” Then Moses was afraid and thought, “This thing I have done has surely become known.”
