Da aber das Volk daselbst dürstete nach Wasser, murrten sie wider Mose und sprachen: Warum hast du uns lassen aus Ägypten ziehen, dass du uns, unsre Kinder und unser Vieh Durstes sterben ließest?
But the people thirsted for water there, and they grumbled against Moses: “Why have you brought us out of Egypt—to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?”
