Und da es die Kinder Israel sahen, sprachen sie untereinander: Man hu [d. h. was ist das?]; denn sie wussten nicht was es war. Mose aber sprach zu ihnen: es ist das Brot, das euch der HErr zu essen gegeben hat.
When the Israelites saw it, they asked one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. So Moses told them, “It is the bread that the LORD has given you to eat.
