Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh, but the LORD hardened (note: Or stiffened or strengthened) Pharaoh’s heart so that he would not let the Israelites go out of his land.
וּמֹשֶׁ֣ה וְאַהֲרֹ֗ן עָשׂ֛וּ אֶת־ כָּל־ הַמֹּפְתִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה לִפְנֵ֣י פַרְעֹ֑ה וַיְחַזֵּ֤ק יְהוָה֙ אֶת־ לֵ֣ב פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְלֹֽא־ שִׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־ בְּנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵאַרְצֽוֹ׃פ
