Esther 7:4

King James Version (1769 Blayney revision, with Apocrypha) · Berean Standard Bible

7:4
For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish (note: Heb. that they should destroy and kill, and cause to perish). But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king’s damage.
For my people and I have been sold out to destruction, death, and annihilation. If we had merely been sold as menservants and maidservants, I would have remained silent, because no such distress would justify burdening the king.”
