Da Mardochai erfuhr alles, was geschehen war, zerriss er seine Kleider und legte einen Sack an und Asche und ging hinaus mitten in die Stadt und schrie laut und kläglich.
When Mordecai learned of all that had happened, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the middle of the city, wailing loudly and bitterly.
