Es ward aber Esther genommen zum König Ahasveros ins königliche Haus im zehnten Monat, der da heißt Tebeth, im siebenten Jahr seines Königreichs.
She was taken to King Xerxes in the royal palace in the tenth month, the month of Tebeth (note: Tebeth is the tenth month of the Hebrew lunar calendar, usually occurring within the months of December and January.), in the seventh year of his reign.
