Les vivants, en effet, savent qu'ils mourront, mais les morts ne savent rien, et il n'y a plus pour eux de salaire ; car leur mémoire est oubliée.
For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing. They have no further reward, because the memory of them is forgotten.
