Denn es geht dem Menschen wie dem Vieh: wie dies stirbt, so stirbt er auch, und haben alle einerlei Odem, und der Mensch hat nichts mehr als das Vieh; denn es ist alles eitel.
For the fates of both men and beasts are the same: As one dies, so dies the other—they all have the same breath (note: Or spirit). Man has no advantage over the animals, since everything is futile.
