Denn du sollst gedenken, dass du auch Knecht in Ägyptenland warst und der HErr, dein Gott, dich von dort ausgeführt hat mit einer mächtigen Hand und mit ausgerecktem Arm. Darum hat dir der HErr, dein Gott, geboten, dass du den Sabbattag halten sollst.
Remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. That is why the LORD your God has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
