כִּֽי־ יִהְיֶה֩ בְךָ֨ אֶבְי֜וֹן מֵאַחַ֤ד אַחֶ֙יךָ֙ בְּאַחַ֣ד שְׁעָרֶ֔יךָ בְּאַ֨רְצְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁר־ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֑ךְ לֹ֧א תְאַמֵּ֣ץ אֶת־ לְבָבְךָ֗ וְלֹ֤א תִקְפֹּץ֙ אֶת־ יָ֣דְךָ֔ מֵאָחִ֖יךָ הָאֶבְיֽוֹן׃
If there is a poor man among your brothers within any of the gates in the land that the LORD your God is giving you, then you are not to harden (note: Or make strong or make courageous) your heart or shut your hand from your poor brother.
