For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe (note: Or, a ransom), and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
For I know that your transgressions are many and your sins are numerous. You oppress the righteous by taking bribes; you deprive the poor of justice in the gate.
