συναρπασθέντος δὲ τοῦ πλοίου, καὶ μὴ δυναμένου ἀντοφθαλμεῖν τῷ ἀνέμῳ, ἐπιδόντες ἐφερόμεθα.
Unable to head into the wind, the ship was caught up. So we gave way and let ourselves be driven along.
