Gleicherweise aber, wie Jannes und Jambres dem Mose widerstanden, also widerstehen auch diese der Wahrheit; es sind Menschen von zerrütteten Sinnen, untüchtig zum Glauben.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses (note: See Jasher 79:27. The Book of Jashar or the Book of the Upright One is often cited as Jasher.), so also these men oppose the truth. They are depraved in mind and disqualified from the faith.
