Οὐδεὶς στρατευόμενος ἐμπλέκεται ταῖς τοῦ βίου πραγματείαις, ἵνα τῷ στρατολογήσαντι ἀρέσῃ.
A soldier refrains from entangling himself in civilian affairs, in order to please the one who enlisted him.
