καὶ προκατελάβετο Δαυεὶδ τῶν αὐτοῦ χίλια ἄρματα καὶ ἑπτὰ χιλιάδας ἱππέων καὶ εἴδοσι χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν πεζῶν· καὶ παρέλυσεν Δαυεὶδ πάντα τὰ ἅρματα, καὶ ὑπελίπετο ἑαυτῷ ἑκατὸν ἅρματα.
David captured from him a thousand chariots, seven thousand charioteers (note: LXX (see also DSS and 1 Chronicles 18:4); MT captured from him seventeen hundred charioteers), and twenty thousand foot soldiers, and he hamstrung all the horses except a hundred he kept for the chariots.
