Und es kamen alle Ältesten in Israel zum König gen Hebron. Und der König David machte mit ihnen einen Bund zu Hebron vor dem HErrn, und sie salbten David zum König über Israel.

So all the elders of Israel came to the king at Hebron, where King David made with them a covenant before the LORD. And they anointed him king over Israel.
