καὶ ἐξελέξατο εαυτῷ Δαυεὶδ τὸν θάνατον· καὶ ἡμέραι θερισμοῦ πυρῶν, καὶ ἔδωκεν Κύριος ἐν Ἰσραὴλ θάνατον ἀπὸ πρωίθεν ἕως ὥρας ἀρίστου· καὶ ἤρξατο Ἡ θραῦσις ἐν τῷ λαῷ, καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ ἀπὸ Δὰν καὶ ἕως Βηρσάβεε, ἐβδομήκοντα χιλιάδες ἀνδρῶν,
So the LORD sent a plague upon Israel from that morning until the appointed time, and seventy thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died (note: Literally and of the people from Dan to Beersheba, seventy thousand men died).
