These [are] the names of the mighty men of David: Jebosthe the Chananite is a captain of the third [part]: Adinon the Asonite, he drew his sword against eight hundred soldiers at once.
These are the names of David’s mighty men: Josheb-basshebeth the Tahchemonite (note: Tahchemonite is probably a variant of Hachmonite; see 1 Chronicles 11:11.) was chief of the Three (note: Or chief among the captains).
