Da sprach Absalom und jedermann in Israel: Der Rat Husais, des Arachiten, ist besser denn Ahithophels Rat. Aber der HERR schickte es also, dass der gute Rat Ahithophels verhindert wurde, auf dass der HERR Unheil über Absalom brächte.
Then Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The advice of Hushai the Archite is better than that of Ahithophel.” For the LORD had purposed to thwart the good counsel of Ahithophel in order to bring disaster on Absalom.
