Josias fit encore disparaître toutes les maisons des hauts lieux, qui étaient dans les villes de Samarie, et qu’avaient faites les rois d’Israël pour irriter l’Éternel; il fit à leur égard entièrement comme il avait fait à Béthel.
Just as Josiah had done at Bethel, so also in the cities of Samaria he removed all the shrines of the high places set up by the kings of Israel who had provoked the LORD to anger.
