He also desecrated Topheth in the Valley of Ben-hinnom (note: Or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom) so that no one could sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire (note: Literally could pass his son or daughter through the fire) to Molech.
וְטִמֵּ֣א אֶת־ הַתֹּ֔פֶת אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּגֵ֣י בְנֵי הִנֹּ֑ם לְבִלְתִּ֗י לְהַעֲבִ֨יר אִ֜ישׁ אֶת־ בְּנ֧וֹ וְאֶת־ בִּתּ֛וֹ בָּאֵ֖שׁ לַמֹּֽלֶךְ׃
