And the king of the Assyrians carried away the Samaritans to Assyria, and put them in Alaë and in Abor, [by] the river Gozan, and [in] the mountains of the Medes;
The king of Assyria exiled the Israelites to Assyria and settled them in Halah, in Gozan by the Habor River, and in the cities of the Medes.
