καὶ ἐλάτευσαν τοῖς εἰδώλοις οἷς εἶπεν Κύριος αὐτοῖς Οὐ ποιήσετε τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο Κυρίῳ.
They served idols, although the LORD had told them, “You shall not do this thing (note: Exodus 20:4–6; Deuteronomy 5:8–10).”
