καὶ ἥψατο κύριος τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ ἦν λελεπρωμένος ἕως ἡμέρας θανάτου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν οἴκῳ αφφουσωθ καὶ Ιωαθαμ υἱὸς τοῦ βασιλέως ἐπὶ τῷ οἴκῳ κρίνων τὸν λαὸν τῆς γῆς
And the LORD afflicted the king with leprosy (note: Leprosy was a term used for various skin diseases; see Leviticus 13.) until the day he died, so that he lived in a separate house while his son Jotham had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.
