וְיוֹזָבָ֣ד בֶּן־ שִׁ֠מְעָת וִיהוֹזָבָ֨ד בֶּן־ שֹׁמֵ֤ר׀ עֲבָדָיו֙ הִכֻּ֣הוּ וַיָּמֹ֔ת וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ אֹת֛וֹ עִם־ אֲבֹתָ֖יו בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִ֑ד וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אֲמַצְיָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ
His servants Jozabad (note: Hebrew; LXX and Syriac Jozacar) son of Shimeath and Jehozabad son of Shomer (note: Shomer is a variant of Shimrith; see 2 Chronicles 24:26.) struck him down, and he died. And they buried him with his fathers in the City of David, and his son Amaziah reigned in his place.
