וַיָּ֜מָת כִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָ֣ה׀ אֲשֶׁר־ דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלִיָּ֗הוּ וַיִּמְלֹ֤ךְ יְהוֹרָם֙ תַּחְתָּ֔יו פ בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שְׁתַּ֔יִם לִיהוֹרָ֥ם בֶּן־ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֖ט מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה כִּ֛י לֹֽא־ הָ֥יָה ל֖וֹ בֵּֽן׃
So Ahaziah died according to the word of the LORD that Elijah had spoken. And since he had no son, Jehoram (note: Jehoram is a variant spelling of Joram.) succeeded him in the second year of the reign of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat over Judah.
