And when the year was expired (note: Heb. at the return of the year), king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels (note: Heb. vessels of desire) of the house of the Lord, and made Zedekiah (note: Or, Mattaniah) his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
In the spring, King Nebuchadnezzar summoned Jehoiachin and brought him to Babylon, along with the articles of value from the house of the LORD. And he made Jehoiachin’s relative (note: Or brother or uncle) Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.
