καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἁγίου τῶν ἁγίων μῆκος αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πλάτους πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ τὸ εὖρος πήχεων εἴκοσι καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν αὐτὸν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ εἰς χερουβιν εἰς τάλαντα ἑξακόσια
Then he made the Most Holy Place (note: Or the Holy of Holies; also in verse 10); its length corresponded to the width of the temple—twenty cubits long and twenty cubits wide. And he overlaid the inside with six hundred talents of fine gold (note: 600 talents is approximately 22.6 tons or 20.5 metric tons of gold.).
