καὶ τὸν οἶκον τὸν μέγαν ἐξύλωσεν ξύλοις κεδρίνοις καὶ κατεχρύσωσεν χρυσίῳ καθαρῷ καὶ ἔγλυψεν ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῦ φοίνικας καὶ χαλαστά
He paneled the main room with cypress (note: Or pine or juniper or fir), which he overlaid with fine gold and decorated with palm trees and chains.
