Da rief der König Jojada, den Vornehmsten, und sprach zu ihm: Warum hast du nicht acht auf die Leviten, dass sie einbringen von Juda und Jerusalem die Steuer, die Mose, der Knecht des HErrn, gesetzt hat, die man sammelte unter Israel zu der Hütte des Stifts?
So the king called Jehoiada the high priest and said, “Why have you not required the Levites to bring from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of the LORD and by the assembly of Israel for the Tent of the Testimony?”
