καὶ ἐτροπώθη ὁ πόλεμος ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ· καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἦν ἑστηκὼς ἐπὶ τοῦ ἄρματος ἕως ἑσπέρας ἐξ ἐναντίας Συρίας, καὶ ἀπέθανεν δύναντος τοῦ ἡλίου.
The battle raged throughout that day, and the king of Israel propped himself up in his chariot facing the Arameans until evening. And at sunset he died.
