Et, sans contredit, le mystère de la piété est grand: celui qui a été manifesté en chair, justifié par l’Esprit, vu des anges, prêché aux Gentils, cru dans le monde, élevé dans la gloire.
By common confession, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared (note: Literally He who appeared; BYZ and TR God appeared) in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.
