Also kamen die Leute von Kirjath-Jearim und holten die Lade des HErrn hinauf und brachten sie ins Haus Abinadabs auf dem Hügel; und seinen Sohn Eleasar heiligten sie, dass er die Lade des HErrn hütete.

Then the men of Kiriath-jearim came for the ark of the LORD and took it into Abinadab’s house on the hill. And they consecrated his son Eleazar to guard the ark of the LORD.
