Da sandten sie die Lade des HErrn gen Ekron. Da aber die Lade Gottes gen Ekron kam, schrieen die von Ekron: Sie haben die Lade Gottes hergetragen zu mir, dass sie mich töte und mein Volk.
So they sent the ark of God to Ekron, but as it arrived, the Ekronites cried out, “They have brought us the ark of the God of Israel in order to kill us and our people!”
