וַתִּקְרָ֣א לַנַּ֗עַר אִֽי־ כָבוֹד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר גָּלָ֥ה כָב֖וֹד מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֶל־ הִלָּקַח֙ אֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וְאֶל־ חָמִ֖יהָ וְאִישָֽׁהּ׃
And she named the boy Ichabod (note: Ichabod means no glory.), saying, “The glory has departed (note: Or gone into exile; also in verse 22) from Israel,” because the ark of God had been captured and her father-in-law and her husband had been killed.
